Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, of course! Kids and babies of all ages are more than welcome! However, the venue doesn’t have feeding high chairs or baby bassinets/cribs so those would need to be brought to the chalet for the supper and overnight stay. There is a changing table in one of the bathrooms on the main floor for diaper changes.
The dress code will vary throughout the two days of our celebration. The dress code for the ceremony, dinner and dancing on the 4th is formal so bring your comfiest prettiest fancy dress or suit for the formal part of the evening.
However, if you’re showing up at noon for the activities, then please show up in your everyday casual clothes! Please don’t sit in your suit or fancy dress all afternoon, we will have an hour before the ceremony to give everyone the chance to change into their formal attire in their respective bedroom.
For the outdoor activities on the 5th, please bring a bathing suit if you plan on getting on the lake or in the hot tubs. Also bring some comfy sporty clothes if you want to play soccer or volleyball or sit by the fire or do some boating on the lake.
Guests can arrive anytime between noon and 5 pm on the 4th, but if you can, arrive as soon as possible! We really want to make the most of the chalet with you and there are lots of activities we want to do with you. We just want our guests to mingle and have fun!
We should have everything covered when it comes to supplies, games and food so all you need to bring is the appropriate outfits for the different activities. So bring a formal outfit, a bathing suit and some sports clothes.
Unfortunately, since we are having an intimate wedding and we are housing all our guests, we can only accommodate the people listed on the envelope of the invitation. Therefore, if not explicitly listed, bringing a plus one is not possible.
We are huge foodies! We don't eat to live, we live to eat! So in honour of that, we'll be bringing in food from several of our favorite restaurants and creating a buffet-style experience throughout the whole weekend. Since we are vegan, most, if not all the food will be vegan or vegetarian but hopefully it will be some of the best stuff you've ever had.
If you have any allergies or intolerances, please let us know in the RSVP form. We'll make sure that everyone has delicious food to eat and if we have any questions we'll contact you.
